when I learned that they actually survived the war.

Statistics
Bear in mind that these statistics are not complete, these numbers only
reflect what I have identified so far.
For example, I am certain that many more of the casualties were members
of the National Guard, but the numbers below are only those I have been able to
confirm, so far.
